        Every member has to pay NRs 5 per month at the unit (centre) meetings towards this fund, which can be used by the unit (centre) for the maintenance of the unit house, meeting and training expenses and social welfare. 


Pension Saving

Pension Saving

        Pension saving: under this scheme, if a member saves continuously for nine years, she will get 1.5 times the total savings or after 14 years of savings, two times the saving amount. In case of non-withdrawal of her savings, after 16 years of savings she can get an assured pension amount per month until she is loanee.


Optional Savings

Optional Savings

    Acting like a current account in which the member can save any amount, the money can be withdrawn at any point of time. Any amount deposited in excess of due loan installments and compulsory savings is maintained as optional saving.


Mero Sajilo Bachat

Mero Sajilo Bachat

All members and non-members are eligible to open this account. Account can open with Nrs.500 and minimum balance will be Nrs.500 and interest rate will be 8%.


Disaster Saving

Disaster Saving

       Five percent of the first loan amount disbursed as general loan is kept as disaster savings and can be withdrawn in such events as floods, landslides, earthquakes and snake bites. A member can withdraw her first disaster savings only after the completion of five years. Members enrolled under the pension savings scheme for at least a year are not required to make savings under this product, however will be offered further as optional service.


Compulsory Monthly Savings

Compulsory Monthly Savings

        Every member has to save NRs 50 (US$0.38) per month in her compulsory savings account. This fund is refundable for the purpose of illness, maternity, social & educational expenditure and only if the saving balance is more than NRs 5,000, and a balance of minimum NRs 2,000 remains in her account.
